2026 WINTER SEASON REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN!
Year 6 -18 years
Players in Year 6 through to 18 years will be required to attend 2 Squad Training sessions AND 2 Grading sessions. Players are expected to attend ALL 4 sessions, and insights will be taken from each session to best determine team placement.
Yanchep Netball Club employs Independent Grading Advisors to complete grading for these age groups. This is to ensure team placement decisions remain unbiased and in the best interests of the players. Please ensure you have read and understand our Grading Guidelines.
All players are required to wear black shorts/skirt (leaving lower leg exposed) and a plain white top. Hair must be tied back, jewellery removed and nails trimmed.
Times/Dates for 2026 Winter Season grading are as follows:
Monday Feb 9 - Squad Training
12U, 13U, 15U, 18U - 5:30pm - 7pm
Tuesday Feb 10 - Squad Training
12U, 13U, 15U, 18U - 5:30pm-7pm
Monday Feb 16 - Grading
12U & 15U - 5:30-7pm
13U & 18U - 7-8:30pm
Tuesday Feb 17 - Grading
12U & 15U - 5:30-7pm
13U & 18U - 7-8:30pm
All sessions take place at Splendid Park Netball Courts, Yanchep. All players attending these sessions must have completed their grading registration prior to taking to court.
REGISTRATIONS CLOSE FEBRUARY 8th
Year 2 - Year 5
Players in Year 2 - Year 5 will be required to attend a Team Placement afternoon where they will get a chance to partake in drills and game play in a fun and supportive environment. Players will be assessed on their ability and understanding of the game so that they can be placed into the most appropriate team available for them.
This process is to ensure all players are allocated to a team that best suits their skill level and fosters an inclusive and fun learning environment.
Players are to wear black shorts or skirt (leaving lower leg exposed), a plain white top, and appropriate sports shoes. Hair must be tied back, all jewellery removed and fingernails trimmed.
2026 Team Placement for players in Year 2 - Year 5 will take place on Wednesday Feb 4 at the following times:
Year 2&3 - 4:00pm-5:30pm
Year 4&5 - 5:30pm-7:00pm
All sessions take place at Splendid Park Netball Courts, Yanchep. All players must have completed a Team Placement registration to be able to partake in this session.
REGISTRATIONS CLOSE FEBRUARY 3rd
It is possible that some Year 5 players will be asked to also attend grading for under 12s. If your child is selected as one of these players you will be notified by email after this Team Placement session.
19 years - Opens
Players turning 19 years and above in 2025 will be required to attend a Team Placement session.
This session will assist the club to create well balanced teams and the allocation of players to teams that suit their skill level and experience.

Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Where: Splendid Park Netball Courts, Yanchep
All players attending this session must have completed a team placement registration prior to taking to court.
REGISTRATIONS CLOSE FEBRUARY 15th
Once all Team Placement and Grading sessions are complete players will receive an email from the club with details of their team allocation.
Attendance at Team Placement and/or Grading does not guarantee players a position on a team. Yanchep Netball Club will always do it’s upmost to place all willing players into teams however due to numbers sometimes this isn’t possible.
Team offer emails will include a link to complete registration into the season competition. It is imperative that you do not share the registration link with anyone.
Please be mindful of the registration cut-off dates as no late registrations will be accepted.
